General Information

DaySandBox Bot is designed to prevent spam in Telegram groups by deleting specific types of posts from new users who have joined the group less than 24 hours ago. It ensures that spammers are automatically deterred by enforcing quarantine periods and message restrictions.

The bot includes settings to whitelist certain links, ensuring important URLs can be shared even during quarantine periods. Media considered for deletion includes audio recordings, games, gifs, attached files, photos, videos, voice messages, video notes, contact cards, geo-locations, and stickers.

Features

Link Quarantine

Blocks new users from posting links. Duration controlled via safe_hours.

Mute Quarantine

Blocks new users from posting any messages. Duration controlled via mute_hours.

No PM Quarantine

Prevents new users from asking others to send them personal messages. Duration controlled via nopm_hours.

Media Deletion

Optionally delete media messages during the quarantine period.

Informational Messages

Option to send notifications explaining why a message was deleted.

  • /tgdev/sandbox set notification no – Disable informational messages for deleted messages.
  • /tgdev/sandbox set safe_hours HOURS – Set quarantine duration for link posting (0 to 720 hours).
  • /tgdev/sandbox set mute_hours HOURS – Set quarantine duration for all messages (0 to 720 hours).
  • /tgdev/sandbox set nopm_hours HOURS – Set quarantine duration for requesting personal messages (0 to 720 hours).
  • /tgdev/sandbox set remove_media yes – Enable media message deletion during safe_hours.
  • /tgdev/sandbox set remove_media no – Disable media message deletion during safe_hours.
